Bacterial Brecht / The DNA Play (working title)

Bacterial Brecht /The DNA Play is a work of bio-performance art. 

The first stage will be a presentation at JACK in Brooklyn, presenting a petri-dish of bacteria that contain Brecht's (possible) DNA, as well as the DNA of the all the actors who played Soldier Number 1 in Mother Courage at the Berliner Ensemble from 1949-2017, and possibly also the DNA of the costumers, technicians, or others who interacted with this set piece. The petri-dish will be a literal micro-cosm, a miniature theater dedicated to this one, peripheral character.
